tim_in_colorado
I found a small little crack in my rear rim today when washing my bike. Here's a link to a photo. It's hard to see. http://tinypic.com/view/?pic=4iczhxv The rim is also bent where it cracked. It this an easy fix? Will it get worse? I've got to imagine that a new rim isn't cheap! The bike is a 2001 GG 321 Thanks
nigel dabster
it is where the wheel is welded to join it and make it round! you could have it repaired or buy a new rim.
lee harris
i have successfully rewelded rims worse than that. i have also had wheels collapse (not nice) with no cracks. I would get a new on if you are into anything harder than riding round your backyard lee
ham2
I found a small little crack in my rear rim today when washing my bike. Is this not a lubrication question?? But seriously,. I'm sure I had the same problem years ago and I got it brazed from the inside.
