the addict
Slapshot, was just typing a 600 word reply to the new fella and you moved the post and its lost have to do it again tomorrow now In short for the rev 3 but should be the same Pj1 foam filter cleaner Pj1 foam filter oil, not too much though and work it in well Light gear oil or ATF Dexron 70ml - 80ml of Castrol TTs 2 stroke oil in 5 litres of 97-99 octane super unleaded Keep the throttle clean and oiled lightly (3 in one oil or 2 stroke plus bit of wd40) Make sure all bolts are tight before riding Clean carb as much as possible, or at least drain it after every ride Tyre pressures 6 in front, 3-5 in rear depending on terrain, Good luck, its a great sport Edited February 27, 2007 by Betarev3

jtt
is this the stuff i need ? Yup. You can also clean air filters in any high flash point solvent (kerosine, etc). I'd also strongly recommend that after washing in solvent that you wash the filter again in nice warm water with some dish washing soap. You'll be surprised how much more dirt is released in the soapy water, even after a thorough solvent washing.
