moulder
I currently have a Sherco rear wheel which I used as a spare for my Gasser and Sherco. I have just ordered a Beta 250 07 2T. Will my sherco wheel fit? The hubs do not look the same, but without physically trying to fit the wheel I will never know if they are. Any info or advice appreciated. monkey
No it won't fit as the sprocket is on the opposite side!!!
bob
It might work if you turn the wheel round the other way. Don't give up al hope! Bob
monkey
Only kidding you my friend!!! I seriously don't think it will fit, so if not I have a sherco and would be more than happy to take it off you!!
moulder
Il give it a go when I get the Beta, but if not it looks like my sherco wheel will end up on ebay. Cheers Tony
mort
i think the beta hubs are un machined in width while some of the other makes are machined to reduce withd and move the center point of the hub to rim on one side to get the correct wheel alinement. I am not certain which bikes do this. so you may be lucky with just making new spacers or even having the wheel respoked
moulder
Got my new Beta, and no the Sherco wheel does not fit. The disk fits but the sprocket spacing from the hub on the Beta is larger compared to the Sherco. New bike it mint. Tony
