beta bodger Posted March 6, 2007 Report Share Posted March 6, 2007 My mates Cota 315 98 model keeps stalling when we are out. The bike starts ok and runs for say 15 minutes. Then for some reason stalls and will not start again. It will start if we leave it for say 1 hour but as you can imagine this is very annoying! So he has had the stator cap off and found that the gasket had perished and a bit of crap was around the stator. He has now cleaned this up and resealed. We are going to give it another go at the weekend but I recon a new stator may be in order. What does everyone think? Has anyone had a similar problem?
