nokesy Posted March 12, 2007 Report Share Posted March 12, 2007 I have an '89 TY 250 mono. I bought this bike with the intention of starting trials. I stripped it down, resprayed, replaced all shock linkage bushes, fork springs, new rear wheel, C&S, put on replacement one-peice tank/seat unit, and numerous other bits (receipts for all), and used it TWICE! Its a really nice bike, but I can't help thinking I'm better suited to pottering about green-laning. Would'nt mind a Scorpa Long-Ride (any good for green-laning?) So whats my TY worth? I never thought it would be suitable for green laning. Its fitted with a (Shirt/Andrews?) silencer, which is quite loud - too loud for green laning?? - don't want to upset people.
