lukeo Posted March 18, 2007 Report Share Posted March 18, 2007 the govenment is trying to bring in a daft legislation so ALL motorbikes, yes all including trials bikes, crossers, speedway bikes, motoGP bikes have to be road registered to stop us riding them illegally, which most of us arnt doing anyway, they are bringing it in to stop yobbo's on mini moto's taring round there neighbour hoods distrurbing people, but they cant jst stop mini moto's so they have to stop us all! the only way to get round it is to road legal your bike, other wise it will be confiscated and destroyed!! for more info its in the motoring pages in the daily telegraph on saturday the 17th march Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

scorpa3 Posted March 18, 2007 Report Share Posted March 18, 2007 I emailed my local MP (Peter Luff Cons) about this subject and he wrote back saying that the opposition would oppose this legislation as there are enough existing laws which could be used to prevent anti social use of motorcycles and mini bikes, without having to go down the complicated and costly registration route.
