cota kid
Reading Jake Miller's article on page 4 of this weeks T&MX got me thinking. Does anyone know of any bookies were you can have a bet on the WTC? I might even have a bet on a Watford v Blackburn FA Cup Final. Oh sorry I forgot its been fixed by the FA for a Chelski v Man Utd final. I'm not bitter, honest.......
toofasttim
Betting on the WTC? Might attract some dodgy Pakistani bookies and Martin might be found in Manchester harbour wearing concrete Alpine Stars. Seriously I met Woolmer briefly and he was a helluva nice guy. A sad loss to both cricket and the sporting world in general.
cota kid
Manchester Harbour. Its about 40 miles from the sea. lol If you can bet on snow on Christmas day and whether or not some young relative will play in a future football world cup, then I'm sure there must be someone out there willing to take a bet on the trials WTC. perce
3 joint favs in a five horse race, does that book balance Perce? I was being fairly generous to drum up trade, seems folk round here don't know a good deal when they see one.
perce
Seeing as though no one wants to play the betting game, what's everybodies predictions? World Champ = Fugi Runner up = Raga Third = Bou
bikespace
Only just spotted this thread - you offering updated odds or is it too late? I'll still go with a tenner on Dougie to win - last big year for him?
seandellear
I will have a tenner on Bou and Doug each way! Any way of starting a proper book on this? There must be betting online for the WTC? I will have a chat to a mate and find some good sites! Cheers Sean
perce
Fujigas 11/4Bou 11/4 Raga 11/4 Cabestany 4 Lampkin 8 to win world championship only Revised odds after round one, only CK get's 8 - 1 about Doug, the rest of you go ask my mother in law about betting after the horse has won. No each way bets, win only. Bou 7/4 Raga 5/2 Fujigas 11/4 Lampkin 6 Cabestany 6 If I can't drum up more than a couple of bets I'm not taking anyone on other than CK, I'm on a hiding to nothing, anything I win goes to charity as it is.
