99techno Posted March 24, 2007 Report Share Posted March 24, 2007 does anyone have any info on the alterations that need to be made to the tank pump on a 4rt for it to fit in a flat tank? as i'am aware that these tanks are being made for alot less money by various companys around the world, has anybody tackled the job themselves, or is it a major enginering feat? cota kid Posted March 24, 2007 Report Share Posted March 24, 2007 PM me your e-mail address and I will send you the photos what needs to be done to the bracket which carries the fuel pump, which basically needs to have the angle of the bracket altered. I had a local mechanic do the work for me and to him it seemed a fairly straight forward job. Apart from Mitani and TRW who else do you know who manufactures the flat tank?
