raga-rep Posted April 21, 2007 Report Share Posted April 21, 2007 Does anybody know if you can use a sherco 290 front wheel in a Beta rev 3 ?Thanks yes you can they fit everything but a mont,just the spacing is different. hubs are the same and so are the discs, ive just brought two brand new wheels for my scorpa only problem is they leek like a siv on the tubeless back wheel..fitted a brand new irc and the thing leeks out of every spoke including the valve..ive sealed every thing with bathroom sealant and that dont work either..i have put a tube in it now got fed up trying to seal the rim..does anyone know how to fix this problem??? copemech Posted April 23, 2007 Report Share Posted April 23, 2007 (edited) Be sure you have not poked holes in the rim band with the tire irons! Inspect it closely! Clean it all up good as new and follow instructions! linky Use soapy water and fingers only to seat the band fully(reallllllly soapy)! And you may want to chunk that "collar" thing! When installing tire, DO NOT TOUCH the band, or you may damage or unseat it! It must be perfect! Good friggin luck! Practice makes perfect!
