adsy Posted April 7, 2007 Report Share Posted April 7, 2007 Just been talking to the team out in Morella Spain for the first round of the Euro Youth Champs. Since they arrived on Thursday it has been virtually none stop TORRENTIAL RAIN! The start and paddock are by a river, with half the event the other side of the river, the river is now impassable so half the course has been lost, and the Civil Police have now arrived, and the whole Paddock and all its inhabitants, have to be moved to higher ground due to the risk of the river bursting it banks and flooding the Paddock!!!! The course has now had to be re-done with only five of the original sections remaining. So far a complete disaster for the organisers, who are tearing there hair out! So much for sunny Spain!
