ollie
hi guys, i have bouught my stepson a 125cc aircooled mono fantic bellieved to be about 1988 to teach him to ride a few months ago. he is now ready to have a go at a novice trial next weekend. the fork seals have just been replaced for me by my good mate technohead.but would appreciate advice from anyone in the know as to what grade and how much fork oil i should put in them. also wondering what the best gearbox oil to use is as the clutch has a tendency to drag a little making it harder for joe to ride. cheers in advance. ollie. ollie
i always used, and still do, atf oil for the gearbox. As far as the forks went i remember using 7.5 or 10 weight fork oil from PJ1. If they are the 32mm 'zocchi forks i believe they take just under 200cc in each leg.... cheers r2w i will give this a try.
