honda pants
Hi, We use 10T on front and 40T rear, Talon sprockets in each case. This appears to be just right for the TLR 250 plenty of grunt in lower gears, Hope this helps
honda_tlr
Hi I have got a TLR200 and I have got a 44T Rear and a 13t Front , my bike always stalls and has got not grunt (on the intermediate route) I have been told to get a 10 ???. Is this the best one to get or should I go even lower on the front ??? just another thing to add I always use first in all the sections,at every trial. I have never used seccond even in a section were other people on TLR's are using seccond , I still need to use first as mine is that higher geared ! Many Thanks, Honda_TLR
tlr tryalsman
I've been running a 9T in the front and 44t in the rear. Pretty sure that this is the stock set up. It works well and makes second really usable for long climbs. honda-tlr, I would definitely go to either a 9 or 10 tooth countersprocket. I'd try the 10 first. I think that you will be pleasantly suprised with the new found pulling power of your 200 All the best, Bryan
honda_tlr
I actually bit the bullet and bought one (10t talon
pitley
Best gearing set up when i had a TLR 250 was 9, 39. This made 1st and 2nd well useable instead of 1st in every section..
g4321
Disadvantage of 9t on front is more chain wear. Also plastic rubber on swinging arm wears more 10 front 44 back is roughly same as 9 39 Me I have settled on 9 44 - less stalling!
