beta bodger
Anyone know where i can get a strong exhaust bracket the holds the tailpipe to the mid section? You know the plastic tick shapped things. I had one of the standard ones but the mounts snapped.
the addict
I got rid of mine ages ago, not stuck one back on at all just keep the midbox/silencer well sealed with silicone without any problems. They cost a fair bit, screws get busted and can catch on your boots sometimes. Think its there more as a heat sheild than anything else but I havent noticed me leg burning so I ve left it off. If i am honest thats why i need to put one back on. I melted a bit of plastic on my boot and thought hum...... best get a sheild back on. As you said as soon as you come off you knock the bolts. neonsurge
My old bike had an ally cover that the previous owner had manufactured. See attached pic.
