marky boy Posted April 23, 2007 Report Share Posted April 23, 2007 Seen these before and wondered that myself slapshot, i'm pretty sure that it says in the acu handbook that if your machine has mag wheels as in the pic then they should be covered in .(with discs i guess) Is this right? slapshot 3 Posted April 23, 2007 Report Share Posted April 23, 2007 I think thats spot on Marky Boy. i remember when they turned up at the SSDT there was a huge issue with them, my dad's mate was the steward and they had all sorts of deliberations before they were allowed to pass scrutineering. Yes plastic discs but at that time no-one had seen them on a trials bike, very quaint.... pete Posted April 26, 2007 Report Share Posted April 26, 2007 Saw one of these a few months ago at Bagshot Heath. A very interesting beastie - unfortunatly was always in front in the section queues so didn't se it perform. And if I remember it had clear plastic discs on the rear wheel, not at the front I think . . . It was definately attracting the most attention in the padock!!!
