hamster Posted April 28, 2007 Report Share Posted April 28, 2007 hi all i have just rebuilt my engine after having the cylinder plated went for my second ride since rebuild after about two hours noticed fan not working i was just about to pack up for the day when the water pipe from the top of the radiator to the cylinder blew out. almost shat meself any ideas on what would cause this cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

scorpa3 Posted April 29, 2007 Report Share Posted April 29, 2007 Replace the pipe and refill the coolant and see if it still starts. If it won't go, you may have damaged the O ring between the barrel and the head. Once you've got it running, simply connect the two wires fromthe sender together and see if the fan still works.
