nigel dabster
imho the best french trial, easy to get lots of plces to stay laid back organisation and GOOD sections, if you think you can get there do it!
lowbrow
Thanks for the recommendation. Which class would you enter, Nigel?
nigel dabster
I do s3 which is sort of 50/50 s2 was a bit harder and would be ok for most centre experts where do you ride and what class?
lowbrow
I describe myself as an over 50 clubman, riding the alternative route in Western and Midland centres.
nigel dabster
S3 would be a good choice and if you find it ok but feel two laps a bit much then you can do just the one. Randonnier is like an easy route in a 3 route trial.
hrc1
Coincidentally regs are out for the 5 Jours du Verdon. http://www.boade.com/ IMHO the best trial in France.....
nigel dabster
I've never done verdon but understand it is a good event, twice as far to go as Sardent and I think the ride round is long, also 5 days can be a bit much for us oldies, but I hope to try it soon. One I would avoid is Averyon.
