ahamayfrank
Guy, When I got my TY it already had the longer rear shocks and progressive springs (dual rate) in the forks. I was still fiddling with the front forks when I moved the rear upper shock mount so I can

ahamayfrank
I know this thread has been dead for quite a while, but I finally got off my a*** and created a on-line photo account. So: Before (as purchased) and After a couple of weeks in the "Man Cave" almost a year later Still more to do but it works quite well so far. guy53
Ok guy's. Up to this point my TY250a that is SO ugly is rumming quite well thank's to your advise. I added 8mm shim in the front fork lately witch make the set up confortable for me. Now I would like to replace the gas thank for a smaller unit but for the moment I don't want to invest to much in the thank as new shock next on the list. I know that a good replacement thank for a 175 TY is a MX 125 unit. Is there a model of tank that would fit the ty 250? Guy
tony27
See if you can find a C model onwards tank, they're aluminium & seem to be a bit smaller or at least the shape is different The other option would be to get a tank/seat unit from millers although I'm not sure what the shaping is like http://www.sammymillerproducts.co.uk/cgi-bin/showpage.fcgi
