bobtlr Posted July 15, 2007 Report Share Posted July 15, 2007 hey , a friend has an sherco 2.9 (2005) and when his engine gets hot the clutchleaver fels like there is air in the hydrolics. clutchplates are new so it the piston in the clutch leaver, no leaking of hydrolic fluid, oil is changed whit the clutch plates +- 30 days ago when the engine is cold it works fine there is no clutch drag and it is not slipping eather just the leaver that becomes soft and no more point on whits you feel the clutch starts to work. any help is welcome greetings bob sorry for any spelling mistakes not used to write in English Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
copemech Posted July 16, 2007 Report Share Posted July 16, 2007 Check for a blockage of the crankcase vent tube(below intake). If bike is an early model it may be run up under the fuel tank and pinched. Re route it to the right side of the carb, up and over the fuel inlet to carb and then down to rear of skidplate.
