bikespace
How do youlot normally get the swinging arm bearings out? I've tried big tube on outside, socket on inside and crush in vice. I have a feeling I just need a bigger vice. There's 4 bearings in there yeah? All can be pushed straight through either way? The word of warning is: Don't have a few beers then just nip in to oil your chain. Forgot all about the chain.
husky
A 4" vice should be enough, you can get a ton of pressure, try warming bearing area of the swingarm with a hotair gun, never failed with this method, good luck
zippy
When I did mine I just used a hammer and a socket and they popped right through into the center area between the bearing spots. Just remember when reinstalling to line up new bearings with the out sides of each bearing area. There is a space between the bearings. At least there was on my 2000 2.
