kambium
Hi everyone. Ian the idiot here! Jetwashed my bike the other day after a trial and I think I may have got water up the exhaust. The bike now wont start and the spark plug is all black and oily when I took it out. It's a new one that I only put in a week ago. When I cleaned it up and put it back in the bike started first kick then died 3 seconds later and wouldnt start again. Is this water in the engine? If so what should I do about it? Thanks guys Ian

Thanks guys Ian hello Ian, try checking the air filter & carb.Every time i jet wash my bike the water seems to get into the air filter. The best way to wash your bike is by bucket & sponge then rinse down.Hope this helps. mikee
Have a look at your jet size in the carb, most of the beta guys are running a 145 main and a 27.5 pilot with a bpr5es plug... not saying it will work for you but it made my rev 3 run like new with no plug foul.. Your not going to do that much damage with water up the ex'pipe apart from reck you packing.. Like slack said the best way is with bucket and sponge and a hose pipe... Let us know how you get on...
