hello my name is mat

ive always been interested in trials riding since i was a young lad and even got a photo with jordie tarris but ive never been able to get a bike till now and now i think its ready to get into the sport so ive started looking for bikes so i can get started. im joining this forum to get tips and tricks needed to have fun on a trials bike and also to ride competitive sections.

so is there any bike you would recommend to get started into the sport?

and if u have a bike for sale please post details and a number i can contact

Hi Terripin,

You ve got some good clubs around you for events, Stratford upon Avon - Bewdley,Dudley etc. The link below is from the ACU site and shows all the Midland Centre clubs (Some have web-sites)

The Stratford Club does some Trials right on your doorstep and usually run 3-4 routes at club Trials, Pete (Scorpa3 on here) runs the Club Trials etc so contact with him is good. A few places to practice not too far maybe more, Top Farm near Broadway and a couple of quarries east of Cheltenham, if you go out, go with someone though,dont ride your bike on your own.

What sort of money are you looking to spend? there are loads of bikes about ranging from 500 quid to the new ones, go and watch a trial local to you and have a chat with some of the riders, always willing to help and will be full of good advise/tips
