beta200
With the Sheffield shootout up for grabs, who do you think should get a shot at it. Michael Brown must be in with a shout, and also young Wiggy. Steve Brown has said that Michael would be well up for it. What are your views on it. nigel dabster
Wiggy but I'm biased! its great that its non championship and we can give the young brits a chance, whoever gets it its about time we had a bit of british bias whatever. shame they can't do a mini masters thingy for youth in the afternoon or halftime? ishy
Going on form I would think 1 Jarvis, even money 2 Morris 2 to 1 3 Brown 5 to 2 4 Wigg 3 to 1 will it run at Sedgefield
ysb
not sure how many riders are needed, M Brown ,S Haslam , L Sampson , A Wigg
Andy
I had a lengthy chat to Neil Crosswaite about this yesterday. The riders will be decided nearer the time based on how they're riding then. This is for up and coming riders so Grimbo is not in the frame. ishy
So you need to be invited to the OK coral in order to take part in the shootout.
nigel dabster
Well if its based on indoor performances wiigys the one........................ A good performance at Cahors should seal it then
Andy
Well if its based on indoor performances wiigys the one........................A good performance at Cahors should seal it then You miss the gist of it. It is based on performance to be allowed to take part in the shootout. From there the lad for which you bear H2O would still have to beat the others to pass through. butty
Would have thought Michael (the mighty atom) Brown would be in the shoot out he has just won the WORLD junior CHAMPIONSHIP what more has he got to prove!!!!!
nigel dabster
Yes got the gist of it now read the front page, and yes the aforementioned four seem logical, if four are required.
moulder75
Haslam, Wigg, Brown and Sampson are the four up and coming names that I can think of. It should make the evening even better with more new british riders to scream at for 4 hours lol.
cota kid
The rider who wins the shoot out will be the one that deserves the ride. Past victories, recent performances and titles will count for nothing, when a rider is out there in the middle of the Arena. All talented riders and good luck to them all and what a fantastic opportunity Avondale is giving these future stars.
