And a few of us were thinking of going to Spa on our bikes for a blast, staying in Malmedy.........so thanks for the early warning Andy ;)

4 Stroke wins WTC bet a certain Belgian World Champion would never see that again along with a few others.

Well, well done Mr T Bou a well deserved title

a bit of a bugger for all those who have booked ferries and acomadation

is there anything else to do in belguim at that time of year ?

Go tour the Battle of the Bulge places. Bastogne, Malmedy etc. That's what I'd do, but not everybody's cup of tea!

On the bright side that should see Belgium dropped from organising WTC events for a couple of years..........

wonder if anyone fancies running a world round in england/scotland/wales then we could have two british rounds like the old days

wahey !

fair point, but at least a celebration at hawkstone can't be bettered!

Ross unless they change the rules ssignificantly(they can't do that as well?) is a definate second regardless so he could join wiggy on the 125's in Andorra.

By my calculations, wiggy needs 6th or higher to gaurentee second in Junior wtc, which means a british one two, also think haslam could have improved to third had the Spa round remaind.

Lets hope that someone somewhere in the FIM is p****d off enough to forget belgium for a few years, we'll see.........

I wouldn't complain about that. The circuit is awesome, but I've said for ages there's far too much man-made stuff in Belgium. Bring back Germany. It was a bit of a one-horse town, but Gefrees was a great round (nothing to do with that mahoosive beer tent they had, honest!)

Gefree's had beer tents all over the course. I would happily go back there.

Whilst it was always on the cards for a Bou win, I pity the riders for whom the two remaining rounds were an opportunity to move up the rankings. Dib's is one rider who springs to mind, is it still possible for him to break into the top six?

Anyone know the reason why Belgium was cancelled at relatively short notice. You expect this type of thing from Octagon in the indoor but not outdoor....
