brucey
Hi, The only thing I could find to remove my son's trouswer leg from my Gas Gas exhaust was wire wool. It takes a while, but doesn't seem to damage the chrome plating. I also tried t cut and scotch brite without sucess. Hope this helps. Bruce. the addict
As Brucey said try wire wool, I use 00 grade to get the worst marks off then 0000 to finish and smooth out any marks/scratches. You might see very tiny marks from the wool but if the whole header is cleaned like this it comes up real nice. Best cleaner I have found so far is Peek far better than Autosol and can be used to clean/polish all sorts of things, can even get the most stuburn marks off the Legends bike Edited August 27, 2007 by The Addict
