Andy
Haven't you heard? Xispa factory rider next year. Being realistic - nobody can answer that right now. As with every other rider out there, contracts are being discussed. I'm sure we'll find out in due course.

kinell
In fact, this just posted, answers your question straight from the horses mouth. I don't think it answers the question, in fact it doesn't sound very promising at all
cota kid
Does any one know if today was dougies last ever wtc? I sincerely hope not. From what he said at this years trial school he is still continuing to enjoy his riding and wants to remain with Montesa HRC, obviously subject to contract negociations. Having seen him ride several times he is not just there to make up the numbers and I am convinced he is still capable of achieving that 100th WTC win. The void that will be left when Doug does eventually leave the sport will never be filled. Since last year, his ranking has not changed and he just missed out on actually improving a place. Considering the fact he has been carrying an injury, which has limited his practice time, I think he has done himself and GB proud.
Andy
Jake and I went shopping on Saturday in Andorra. Went into one electrical shop and was asked by the guy what the passes were round our necks. We just said "Trial". The guy said "Ahhhhhh - Lampkin!" Not Raga, Bou or anybody else, but Lampkin. I get that everywhere I go when I try and explain what my website is about to folk who don't know. The name is synonymous with Trials and to lose him before he's ready to retire would be a serious blow and a sad loss to the sport. We just have to wait and see what happens over the next few weeks. cota kid
Martin's also one who's not ready to retire early either. You also got to consider whom, if anyone, could replace Doug in the Montesa HRC team. Answer no one. However would they consider running the team of Bou, Fuji and Laia? atomant
We have been conditioned all year to think Doug will be retiring at the end of this season but he can still cut the mustard! Would love to see him give it at least another year
