jmlfin
Sorry that I cant help you as I do not have any personal experience of this model. But, as Im also thinking of buying 4 stroke for next season, it would be very interesting if anyone can compare the good/bad points of todays two main choices Beta Rev-4 vs Montesa 4RT. ishy
Not many about yet, but they did well in the ssdt, buy what you fancy you would if you were buying a car.
kinell
I've got one but I'm bound to be biased same as a 4rt owner would be so it's pointless me saying how good the Rev-4 is to be honest... The SSDT is a bloody good test for any bike, I'm sure the manufacturers use it as a test ground too - Sherco dipped in with a few 4t's and suffered, Montesa had a good few enter the first time out and had no problems, Beta also dipped a toe in with 4 bikes this year and all finished except for one rider who got injured and had to retire. Beta played it safe with a good card and should reap the benefits with their 2008 bikes - However, I think they might have lost the impetus by not releasing more of the 2007 bikes this year. feetup69
I'm going for it, and shelling out the big coin for 08 a rev-3 4T. Unfortunately there's been very few online videos of the bike except for the coverage from Steve Saunders, and maybe 2 or 3 short youtube videos... little or nothing showing advanced maneuvers on this little philly... does anybody have anything juicy out there to watch as we wait for the new bikes to make their way to the USA? Jordi Pasquet rides one and I'm sure I've seen a couple of video's on here of him riding WR's on it....

ptradam
1st I'd have to ride one. That's how I made the deciion to buy my current bike. A 2005 rev 3 270. I was looking for something like a Mont 315R and the beta was the closest thing. Also, because I'm cheap I'd wait until next year and buy one that is a year old
rlracer
I have had one and liked it and now am waiting on my 08 to arrive at the end of October to the 1st part of November. The bike is quiet and has a steady pull thru the power , you will like it. Want pull your arms out of socket like the 270. The 4-stroke works everywhere great traction in the mud and off cambers. I have also rode the new sherco 4-stroke very strong motor, they also have done a good job with there new one.
