hallier
ON the way to getting my 87 TLM 200 going but carb is a bit of a mess after sitting for a few years and adjusted floats to what I thought was a standard Kehin setting of 17 - 18mm--- result no fuel in carb. So B4 i pull it out again as it is a bit of a sod to get out can anyone give me the correct float height setting for one of these. Cheers Roy

Cheers Roy A BIT LATE NOW,NEVER EVER ADJUST FLOAT SETTING,IN MANY YEARS IN THE TRADE I HAVER NEVER DONE IT.I THINK THATS NOT YOUR PROBLEM SOUNDS LIKE CARB NOT CLEAN ENOUGH.HAVE YOU TRIED HOLDING UP CARB WHILE FILLING THROUGH PIPE AND TRYING FLOAT UP AND DOWN WITHOUT BOWL ON,TO SEE IF FUEL COMES THROUGH ,NOW ADJUST BY EYE.HOPE THIS ALL MAKES SENCE

Cheers was hoping someone might have service manual with correct float setting to start with. Cheers
gazza
Hi, according to the manual it should be 19mm from the bottom edge of the float to the underside of the main carb body (where the gasket sits) Lucky it has photos as all of the text is in Japanese. thanks Gazza
