dougie pumpkin Posted October 11, 2007 Report Share Posted October 11, 2007 (edited) It is with regret that the Hillsborough Club have taken the decision to cancel the penultimate round of the Classic series - The Hillsborough Classic , which was to be held on the 28th October .This is due to the concerns of the farmers, who are aware that this is a national event and the small risk posed by the fact riders will be travelling from across the country. This is not a decision that has been taken lightly but we have kept in close contact with the farmers over the last few weeks and have held on as long as possible before taking the decision in order to see how the situation evolved. We have reached a point where it will be difficult to run an event to the clubs own high standard with little time to prepare the sections.
