clarkp
... Do you have ride all 6 or will only 3 count? ... 5 of 6 will count for the support classes, 6 of 6 for the pros.
Andy
Re the TN World Round, I was a bit unsure of how our travel people would handle it as they can be very funny over these things. However, got confirmation today they're happy for me to fly from the UK out to Vegas then sort out my return flight from Atlanta. All I have to sort out and pay for is my flight from Vegas to Atlanta on Friday and car hire. I know the Holiday Inn Express in Kimball was where we stayed last time, but it's not the best. I'd prefer to stay on-site and do a bit of socialising since I rarely get to see any of you guys. It might be a dumb question, but I don't know how things work over there. Does anyone know if there are any local RV rental companies that will deliver to site then collect? I know Tennessee RV were there last time, but their stuff all seemed to be new and for sale rather than rental. I could hire an RV in Atlanta and drive it up, but I don't much fancy that as I don't know what time I'll be arriving yet. Answers on a postcard... ishy
If I go I'm flying out Andy, it would cost 5 times more 6 extra days to drive the gas pig out there, have you thought of renting a mini van and buy a cheap sleeping bag and pad, Big Al will take you to the water hole each morning for a dip. Andy
Andy here's a link that may help.http://www.rentarvnow.com/Tennessee-RV-Rentals.htm It looks like they have an office in chattanooga. Thanks Paul - that sounds ideal After our travel people saying yes, they then turned and threw their toys out of the pram and said no because they had so many requests for folk to fly out early/stay on/deviate routes they couldn't fulfill all the cheap seats they'd pre-booked. Fortunately I got in just before they clamped down so after complaining and saying I'd forego the pre-booked flight back from Vegas and just do my own thing they backed down and said okay I'll contact Dan at TTC about a pitch and see if he can sort things out with them re delivery/collection and I'll just pay the bill I'll be staying well clear of Bechard and his firewater though

copemech
It will still cost a fortune to get the RV set up. If you get it for $300 per day you will be lucky, first class though! As compared to the economy motel 10 min away for about $50-60 which has LOTS of hot water, breakfast next door and buffet supper! Big Al has fixins and recipie for the Cactus Juice, which is much more palatable than the Corn Mash brought in for tourists! Al can't even do but a shot of the mash. If he needs more Juice,I will send fixins. Of course , after a few shot of Scotch, the Mash seems much better! The Juice, you just sip till time to go, then you fall down!
