scrumpyjack
I just feel the need to give a mention to the passing of Bill Dale, he did more observing than riding over the last few years, and i last saw him as he punched my card at the East Yorkshire trial a fortnight ago... sadly missed. cota kid
That' is really sad news. A really sound bloke and trials enthusiast. Always there giving me encouragement on his section. RIP
johndale
Forgive for intruding in your forum, I am Jack "Bill" Dale's son, my father was an avid fan of this forum and I would like to ask members if they have any photographs of my father riding. He himself had many pictures off all of you but only one or two of himself. we are all very grateful for the support we have recieved from many club members, any recolections of my father would be greatly appriciated to help us through this sudden tragedy. He had a passion for trails that was unsurpassed and I myself rarely had the chance to meet any of his newfound friends having been out of the country for over ten years. Thanks again for your kind words of condolence. John Dale.
cota kid
John, I have e-mailed a few people to see if we can track down some pictures of your Dad (feet up) and I will let you know what I come up with via this forum. Everyone I've been speaking to at trials is genuinely saddened at the loss of Bill. Its people like your Dad who make this sport the sport it is. God Bless him. johndale
Thank you very much Dominic. If anybody would like funeral details then they are welcome to PM me at the address featured in this ID. We have managed to get a motorbike hearse to carry the coffin rather than the classic hearse courtesy of the Rev. Paul Sinclair. http://www.motorcyclefunerals.com/ Dad would have loved that. John.
