tomsdad Posted October 20, 2007 Report Share Posted October 20, 2007 Having had 3 fans fail in the first few months of ownership, I gave up, removed the fan and it ran without any cooling problems for the next 2 years. Always carried a bottle of water in the bum bag though !!!! Without the fan to worry about, I only had to pray that the electrics would keep working. Mike. We have been told that they are no longer available and the fan off a txt 300 can be modified to fit can anybody help thanks sam Hi there - are you still having a problem, only our Gas Gas uses a 12V computer PSU fan, dead cheap - cost a fiver - and perfectly adequate performance, even on hot summer days.
