smalley250 Posted October 21, 2007 Report Share Posted October 21, 2007 My txt 300 stopped today on a trial after running rough on bottom end then back fired and stopped. Im not getting any spark at the plug and all connections are good and dry so any ideas. My mates son has a 125 so is it possilbe to swap CDI units on 125 to a 300 to test. peterb Posted October 27, 2007 Report Share Posted October 27, 2007 To stop this from happening again, remove the woodruff key and lap the flywheel and crankshaft tapers together with some very fine grinding paste, can even mix it with Brasso for a finer mix.
