larstrialinfo
See the Gas Gas 4 stroke on the motorshow in Milan. www.larstrialinfo.nl It became a realy nice bike, with nice colors and a low cilinder. Hopefully the bike is soon by the dealers... Edited November 6, 2007 by larstrialinfo

hillary
It's a sidevalve engine - as it was rumoured to be. In the past they have been sluggish and gutless, but with modern technology, who knows. It will certainly reduce weight and lower the centre of gravity. gii
The other rumour was fuel injection, with the exhaust running almost all the way around the engine it's hard to see the inlet. Been plenty of racing sidevalves in the past, cars and bikes, especially over the pond but they're not ideally suited to producing a lot of power for a long time or at high rpm either. They tend to be very compact torquey motors. This'll be interesting, nearly as interesting as a red frame and new plastics.

Looks like a side value based motor.........Very interesting way to keep things small, low center of gravity and tiddy looking.......Very nice Engr work....on an trusted proven design.........D Edited November 6, 2007 by D.
