sherpa66
Hello folks. I have a bit of a mystery on my hands, and I'd really appreciate some help! Recently I bought a frame, and it was described as being froma particular manufacturer, and from the photographs made available, I had no reason to believe it was not as described. However, having now had the opportunity to examine it more closely, I begin to doubt that I know who made this thing! Since then, I have shown it to a number of people, and the number of differing opinions roughly equates to the number of people I've shown it to Anyone who can identify this .... please ????? !!!!! Thanks, people Edited November 18, 2007 by Sherpa66

daved444
Unless I am mistaken it appears to be a slightly modified Sprite frame
sherpa66
Firstly, thanks to everyone who looked at this and to those who shared an opinion. It was sold to me as being a Sprite, and from the information I had, it did seem that's what it was. However, there are a number of features which make it look (to my mind) "not quite right". From the research I've done, the closest I can get is the it MIGHT be a modified Firefly. I guess if John Lee is at the Dominey trial this weekend, I may be able to get a definitive answer :-) In the meantime, does anyone else have a better idea? OR .... does anyone have more pictures of a Firefly than is in Don Morley's book ????? Thanks again!
