I only put a new tail on my 06 Sherco 2 weeks ago, but I dropped her today and cracked one side. Not too big, but enough to annoy the heck out of me ;)

I know it's probably going to be "no"...but does anyone know how too glue or weld up a Sherco tail? :thumbup:B)

Best of balance.

There's a fairly new Co. that makes a glue specially for the type of plastic on mc/atv's , my brother has used it at his shop, seems to work very good, you can even use it to make/replace plastic mounting tabs ,or fill in missing piece, I'll try and get the contact info today.

Loctite make a 2 part super glue called "All Plastics". It is excellent if applied properly, if you take short cuts - it won't stick.

You can get it from most big DIY stores.

Bugger, bugger, bugger...

It didn't work...it had no adhesive properties on the Sheco plastics what so ever :D .....I may have well been using water!!!

I've got a GG airbox to fix....so I'm hoping it works better on their plastics.

Any other suggestions gents?

Best of balance.

Just to let anyone know that 406 Loctitie did the job perfectly on my O6 Sherco Tail.

There is another product call Q-Bond which I got from Repco (in Australia). And ended up fixing my daughters GG Airbox with.

But Q-Bond comes with some crystals which can be used to support the break your trying to fix. By pouring the crystals on and then dripping the glue on too.

Anyway I used the Q-Bond crystals with the 406 Loctitie to fix my Sherco tail and it's still holding strong after about 20 rides.....Considering the break is right on the bend of the tail. This is not bad result (406 Loctitie and Q-Bond crystals) , I think :D

Best of balance.
