hop blip and a jump Posted December 20, 2007 Report Share Posted December 20, 2007 I had my montesa 311 engine rebuilt years ago and it ran sweet for about 15 mins, i stopped by my friend kill'd the motor had a chat then i kicked it up, it started straight up, so i knocked it into gear let the clutch out and nearly went over the bars!!!!! WOW!!! my woodruff key had sheared and the engine started fine but ran backward!!!!! sweet 6 reverse gears!! Very bizzare!! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
revfinn Posted December 28, 2007 Author Report Share Posted December 28, 2007 Hi all, me again when the flywheel came loose it flattened the 3-4 threads on the shaft, i want to clean them out with a die, does anyone know the pitch of the thread i think its 16mm dia but dont know what the pitch is.
