clarkp
Does anyone carry this brand here in the U.S.? And is the Sidi Trial Zero boot and the Sidi Discovery boot the same? The Alpine Stars are gettin' powerful gamey and need to be put out to pasture.
lineaway
The discovery is the only one you`ll find here. just remove the metal toe clips, and you have one of the best kept secrets in the trials world. Best made boot. Not quite as flexible, but top quality.
andat
Sorry guys, but I have a pair of black Sidi trials boots and removed the steel toe caps and they are rubbish: the leather is very stiff, the stitching rots (despite lots of waterproofing) and the soles have no grip...hence the considerable number of bruises on by ass from slipping down banks while walking the sections. My mate has a pair of Daidora 'Stone' which come with an inner waterproof lining and he swears by them. I am expecting Santa to bring me some on Tuesday morning...PLEASE
tony283
The only Sidi Trials boot available in the US is the Discovery and is available from; www.motonation.com or their local outlets, I use the Sidi Zero which I had sent from the UK, great trials boot but not fully waterproof tony
edholland
I have the metal toe clips still on my boots i see some screws on the underside but the top has some nails in them. Did you first remove the nails ? and what is the function of those clips anyway ? Only Sidi has them i think.
hop blip and a jump
I've had my sidi courier for a year and they are excellent boots, they are mega waterproof and have'nt fallen apart at all. They were very stiff at first but softened up after a few times out. the only thing i needed was a replacement strap after i ripped one off!! smalley250
Ive had three pair of Sidi Zero boots and have now got alpinestars. Sidi are like lead with no grip and all the stiching which is loads comes apart. wished id bought Alpinestars in the first place. I have a huge scar as well partly due to the Sidi boots as they are a short boot not covering much of the shin.
