The brakes on my '99 mont work really badly once their all coverd in mud and water during a wet trial are the any way that i can improve there effectiveness in the wet? hrc2002 Posted June 22, 2004 Report Share Posted June 22, 2004 Need something to channel the dirt and water out... Before doing this, Id get a second opinion. You could get the brake pads out and use an axesaw to cut horizontal 'groves' across the pad. Secondly, get the disc and drill holes into it....not exactly sure on that one though.
