finn
I've got a question, I've just got my first Montesa - a 1998 315r and obviously the last rider was a 2 stone midget - So when I placed my rather ample 17 stone on her she collapsed to the floor in shock. The rear end suspension is simple enough to adjust pre-load and rebound etc.. But the front end is a whole new kettle of fish? Is the pre-load only set on one fork leg and the rebound set on the other? Excuse my ignorance but shouldn't this be set on both equally? Can anyone give a rough estimate as to what is the correct setup - at the moment the front is very soft, if there is 5" of movement then with me on her there is only 2" left I understand they would drop a bit but not that much! Thanks for any replies Nick. Edited December 28, 2007 by Finn
