andy m
Good luck to any T C users on the list. Is it me or would you bet your weeks wage that certain "names" will be on the list whatever. Whilst others struggle to get a look in. I am not refering to any one on TC. You know who I mean . Wait for it.
fatbikedude
glad to see the Pre 65 organisers have embraced the computer age- its taken them 15 years to rebuild the 1964 majorhard 3b-66932a found in a shed in Bakalite Glen - When they plugged the last valve in it sprung to life and they then designed a complex programme which ran overnight to put the entrants list into alphabetical order. - the result is worth it though i'm sure you'll agree. davieboy
Any idea who is number 1? My mate Graham Miller had the honour of first away last year on his B40. Its usually a Scottish rider I think isn't it?

Its usually a Scottish rider I think isn't it? Yes, I did hear but I am sworn to secrecy! I believe... the rider has a Scottish ACU licence, born Scot, Scottish mother, but exported to Lancashire at one time in his life. Currently a Scottish resident.. That's all I'm saying. stickinthemud
Well spotted that man. First time for a while that the riders have been listed on the web! There were lots of long faces at the Red Rose trial today. One or two well known riders were unlucky in the 'draw' - Eric Boocock - former speedway star - rides pre65 most weekends - but he is on the first reserve list. Also John Maxfield - 2 time winner of the Manx Classic. So at least not all the 'names' get in Bo. Still too many under 40s!
big john
Still too many under 40s! I must have missed the bit that gave the age of the rider! Big John

2fargone
Do past winners of this event (Pre65) get an automatic entry? Whats the general opinion, should they or not? Edited January 14, 2008 by 2fargone
old trials fanatic
Do past winners of this event (Pre65) get an automatic entry?Whats the general opinion, should they or not? Is that why Big John always gets an entry ? It seems that they do but should they? Personally i would say they should take their chance in the ballot the same as everybody else but that would dissapoint a lot of people and result in less spectators and less programme sales which is a major source of income for the club so on balance probably a necessary "evil" ? Difficult one really.
woody
Do past winners of this event (Pre65) get an automatic entry?Whats the general opinion, should they or not? No, Brian Cotterill who won it a few years ago now, can't get an entry, so it's not automatic for all previous winners

big john
Because of certain "comments" that have come to my attention... You have got to be soooooo careful nowadays, I bet John Collins gets this all the time, don't you John? Kind regards, Big John Oh yes, one final point..If the cap fits, wear it!
