Information On Tlm 220r

Hi to all,

I have got the opportunity to rescue a bike that is in dire need of love and attention. I am a sucker for a good bike that needs some love (hate to see bikes rust away and go out of commision).

My problem is that living in the Philippines I will have probably one of the only trials bikes in the country, I therefore have very few resources locally to call on.

The bike is a 1993 Honda TLM 220R (although from the paint design it looks to be 89).

To get the bike up and running I need,

CDI Unit

Coil

If anyone has any information where I can get these from or has details of the relevant part numbers it would be much appreciated. ( I can order from Japan if I have the relevant part numbers)

I would dearly love to show the people of the Philippines how exciting and challenging Trials riding is and this would be a first step.

For information I moved here a number of years ago and I am originally from Marple in England. I used to enjoy trials riding in the UK tremendously and really miss it.

Thanks

Dale

there was some bits on ebay sometime ago.i had a tlm 240 for years.now i have tlm 200.these are great bikes they are no problem at all.your 220 is the same as 200 and 240 parts are nearly the same they use a mtx 125/200 bottom end. with the water pump and balencer shaft not fitted .so for coil and cdi check out all these other bikes.
