isaacely
Hi, can anyone tell me if it is possible to remove the exhaust from a fantic 200 without removing the engine or cylinder head, I have taken off the carb and airbox but the exhaust does not seem to fit through the gap between the frame and engine. Can anyone offer any advice. Thanks.
lee harris
I did it ok 2 nights ago. Head left on, no airbox or carb. Remove all nuts and springs, go forward and rotate and then remove backwards plus twist at the end. Thanks. Oh there fun. It's possible to do with the engine in but awkward,The easy way to go would be to take out the front engine bolt and then the top back bolt and just loosen the back bottom bolt,(i think thats all the bolt's) and that will allow the motor to drop enough to give you space to untangle the exhaust ,don't forget to ping the two spring's off the cylinder before you start. isaacely
Thanks for the help, I have managed to get it out. I have cleaned it up and painted it but I dont think I stand much chance of getting it back on without scratching the new paint!
