dougie pumpkin Posted February 28, 2008 Report Share Posted February 28, 2008 Not really sure what is going on here, but there is a plea in TMX for results sheets, photograhps, programmes and the sorts to prove the activity of motorcycle events going back to the 1960's. All my family wrote in to the council in support but got little back. I know that when Terry Crabtree had spoken with the council they'd only mentioned the complaints and not the supporters. Pretty sure they've even complained about the toilets being there. Going to check through my photos and results but that'll only be back to around 1982-83 Really sad that people haven't got anything better to complain about! Agree we should all do or very best to preserve the land for Trials usage but certain vested interests may be hard to overcome.
