baor101
Hello everyone. I have noticed that my front forks bottom out without a lot of effort. I suspect the springs are shagged. Is there a source for replacement springs or a "fix" like pre loading them. and, Yes, the rider should loose say 20 lbs, that would help. Is fitting Reflex forks an option? Or will that setup foul up against the stock tank? Tom Tollefson TL 125 with Reflex engine (almost done)
malcra
Tom, I gave up trying to get my stock TL125 forks to work for me (i am around 180lbs); they simply aren't up for the job. I have written a short article on this (and have subsequently sold my TL125's). I did see a guy with a TL125 on the Vic Ashford trial couple of weeks ago; stock fork with spacers which seemed to work ok for him; i guess he was lighter than me though ! baor101
thanks for the reply. As I am using the bike mainly as a runabout, the "trials worthiness" is a secondary issue. I will probably fit a set of springs from a SL 125 ans see what the results are. Tom
