Only Site Supporters can upload images. For everyone else, you can use the img tags and post pictures from sites like photobucket etc

Firstly, when you go to add a post, look in the bottom right and you should see the box below.

Click the browse button....

Then look through your folders to find the picture you want to upload

post-1163-1206105773.jpg

Click UPLOAD as below

Once the picture is uploaded, the box should say Manage Current Attachments click on the drop down arrow on the right and the info below comes up.

Click on the icon as it says below

Then it automatically puts the picture information in your post. You will not see a picture, the forum software will use this information to find the picture and display it when you submit the post.

After that, that should be it :hyper:

Please note: There is a limit on the size and type of file you can upload. I thinks it is 250k for a single file. Pictures should ideally be jpg files.

I hope this helps, if you need any more info then ask :D

Well done Atom that is an idiots guide. Only thing what about a complete idiots guide as when in the past I have tried to post a pic I am told it is too big ??? Cheers :hyper:

If the picture is too big (above 250kb) then you will need to reduce it. You can do this in a variety of ways.

One of them is to get a picture editing program Paint.Net, and resize the picture until its small enough. Normally, if you take a picture with a digital camera, (even some modern phones), the picture size will be too big and you must reduce them in size.

To check the size of the file, do the following :-

Select image and Right Click on it.

Then click on Properties - The image size is displayed .

Hope that helps
