Short version I have ridden trials since 71 and still have a vintage trials OSSA MAR 250 and vintage enduro bikes, modern enduro bike and modern trials Beta Rev. In 1980 I bought a new 320 TL, rode for several years, left for a year in OZ and sold bike to a friend. Came back he had sold it and I could not find it again....wanted it back. After a few years gave up. Bike turned up on monday on e-bay, Vinduro group mentioned it....someone was looking for a SWM enduro, this was a trials bike. But it was just 15 mins from me so I clicked on the link. Wow looked like my old bike, more I looked at it more it looked like it. About 12 hours left on the auction so I e-mailed my phone # and said I'd like to see it, guy came right back and said I could pop over now. MY BIKE !!!it was my old bike had been in a guys basement for over 18 years. Overall pretty good nick, but I will need some stuff. Of course I bought it how could I not ,always liked that bike.....lots of mems. I rode that bike in a national support class at the world round in Watkins Glen in 81. Anyway I will be asking for parts and stuff. Yes it started second kick, and looks very clean but for example it has some very stiff rear shocks on it off god knows what. I need proper rear shocks....ideas? I have already e-mailed Keith Taylor in the states. I'll try to take some pics when I get the camera battries charged up, got some old ones of me on the bike as well. And yes it is my old bike, same berine bars I put on and same missing outer left head fine that I ground right down smooth rather than look at the big chunk I broke out. Funky headlight and tail light and way to stiff shocks off I have no idea what. I have not really started to dissassemble, but I have ordered new Falcon shocks from BobGinder at B&J in Tenn. Also means that one of the twinshock trials shops in the states probably has it as well and I know what to ask for. I was looking at the footrests on my 02 Beta and thought they might fit, interesting that the Sherco ones are close and I know that B&J in the states have the weld on pegs, prob got them from the UK. philthyphil Posted April 19, 2008 Author Report Share Posted April 19, 2008 The ones on the bike now are almost 15 inches and are wrong. The orginial ones were 13 .9 inches. My booklet from the USA SWM distributor back in 1980 said we could use 14 inch or even 14.25. I have ordered new Falcon's from BJ racing in Tenn. They will be 13.9 inches.
