mattp Posted April 4, 2008 Report Share Posted April 4, 2008 Hi I have had the same problem.Due to the age (04) it is unlikely you will get a free stator but phone them they are very helpfull.It may not be the stator plate ,could also be the cdi unit,but they will go over the problem with you. helloyes Posted April 5, 2008 Report Share Posted April 5, 2008 Get it rewound at west country windings, did one for me a while back they put extra windings on and the bike ran better than ever ! Also try a fine tip plug the spark goes earlier my bike seemed to run better for it ! Oh and its cheaper than a new one, and not lightly to wrong again !
