If the bike is in good condition, then that's a good price.

If you can run the bike until the fan cuts in and it still sounds ok, that's a good start.

Check all the usual things like wheel bearings, shock absorber and fork seals. You can soon spend two or three hundred pounds on a nail if these things are worn out, then you'd wish that you had bought a more expensive bike in the first place.
