bambam_n_chunx Posted April 8, 2008 Report Share Posted April 8, 2008 Hello Just wondered if this is a record. I went to change the front tyre this morning and found 12 cracks in the edge of the rim. Granted its an 02 sherco and the tyre looks like the original but ive never seen anything as bad before,I only hope the rest of the bike is made of better stuff. Apologies bambam, but can you show us your rim or a photo of your crack? I think the rim is an aluminium-alloy extrusion so I think you'll be looking at brazing rather than welding. Let's see.
