edholland
Some of the spokes on my GasGas sound loose when i tap them with a screwdriver. Can i just tighten the loose ones or should i take the wheels to an expert ? Tia,
telecat
Just tighten them by a half to one turn. Don't be tempted to give it another "for luck" as the wheel will buckle if you do to many (turns or spokes).

There's an article about wheel maintenance if you go onto the main page, click the "other " header, Technical article, Ron Milam collection no 9. Havent read it all but should give you some pointers. Guest majestyman340
It seems that to me that most current bike spokes are MS with poor quality flash chrome plating............................personally I prefer the old style bright zinc plating, which on some of the wheels I have stiil looks as new (1983).
